Service status
We don't currently publish a live status page or uptime figures. If netdash isn't working as expected, start with these checks, then contact support.
Check your setup
Work through these checks in order before you contact support.
Step 1: Send one test request
Run the curl command below with your own username and password, outside your application. If it prints an IP address, the gateway and your credentials work.
Step 2: Read a 407 as a credentials problem
A 407 means the gateway rejected the password or the username syntax. Check the password, the country code (
TroubleshootingGB, notUK) and the session parameters.Step 3: Check that HTTPS uses the proxy
If the test works but HTTPS requests from your application show your own IP, they are going around the proxy. Set the proxy for both HTTP and HTTPS URLs in your client.
Step 4: Check the plan's GB balance
Sign in to the dashboard and check the balance of the plan whose host and port you use. Each plan keeps its own GB balance.

Test request with curl
This request uses the Scale plan through the Americas gateway with a United States exit. Replace USERNAME and PASSWORD with your dashboard credentials. --max-time 30 stops curl after 30 seconds instead of letting a stuck request wait.
If you bought a different plan, use that plan's host and port from the proxy format reference, for example mobile-eu.netdash.io:4000 for Mobile through the Europe gateway.
- A JSON response with an IP address: the gateway and your credentials work
407: check the password and the username syntax- A timeout after 30 seconds or a connection error: note the time in UTC and the host and port, then contact support
curl -x "http://USERNAME-cc-US:PASSWORD@scale-us.netdash.io:2000" \
--max-time 30 \
"https://api.ipify.org?format=json"Report a problem
If the checks above don't explain the problem, contact support and include these details in your first message. Never send your password.
Every channel is listed on the contact page.
- When it started, in UTC
- The gateway host and port, for example
scale-us.netdash.io:2000 - The exit country and session settings
- The HTTP status or error message
- How many requests were affected
- Your netdash username (never your password)
