netdash bills residential and mobile proxies by the GB and static ISP and datacenter IPs by the IP. Balances, order pricing and renewals are explained below; the rates themselves are listed on the pricing page.
How netdash billing works
netdash billing for residential and mobile proxies works per order. You buy GB for one plan in a one-time order of 1 to 50,000 GB, priced in USD and paid by card through Stripe Checkout. There is no subscription for residential or mobile plans: nothing renews, and you place a new order when you need more GB. The plan is provisioned automatically once payment is confirmed.
Open the shop See pricingOne balance per plan
netdash has three residential plans, Solve (our lowest-cost residential plan), Scale and the Opus plan, plus Mobile. Your username and password work on all four, but each plan has its own GB balance:
- GB bought for Scale don't top up Solve, and the other way round.
- Mobile has a balance of its own.
- Traffic through a plan's gateway counts against that plan's balance, so the host and port you use decide which balance is charged. The proxy format reference lists the gateway of each plan.
Buy GB for the plan you actually send traffic through. If you switch plans, the GB on the old plan stay there for later.
Graduated pricing per order
Each GB in an order is charged at the rate of the band it falls in.
The bands are ranges of GB within one order: GB 1–100 are charged at the first band's rate, GB 101–500 at the second band's rate, and so on through eight bands, the last covering GB 25,001–50,000. The band subtotals add up to the order total, which you pay once.
For example, an order of 300 GB is charged as 100 GB at the first band's rate plus 200 GB at the second band's rate. It is not a flat discount on the whole order.
Bands apply within one order; separate orders are priced separately. Every new order starts again in the first band: an order is never priced together with earlier ones.
Every band rate for every plan, and a calculator for any order up to 50,000 GB, are on the residential proxy pricing page.
Purchased GB never expire
Purchased GB never expire. Unused GB stay on the plan's balance until you use them, so you can buy for a project now and keep whatever is left for the next one.
How usage is counted
You pay for the traffic you use. There is no hidden multiplier on metered GB.
Check your balance
The remaining GB of each plan are shown on the Residential (or Mobile) page in the dashboard. If requests fail on one plan but work on another, check that plan's balance first; troubleshooting covers this case.
ISP and datacenter billing
Static ISP and datacenter proxies are billed differently from residential and mobile:
| Residential and mobile | ISP and datacenter | |
|---|---|---|
| Billed by | GB of traffic | IP, with no per-GB charge |
| Payment | One-time order | Renews every 30 days |
| Stopping | Nothing to cancel | Cancel in the billing portal before the renewal |
| What you keep | Unused GB, which never expire | Each IP, for as long as the subscription renews |
Per-IP prices for ISP proxies and datacenter proxies are listed under ISP pricing and datacenter pricing.
