Residential proxies, rotating or sticky

Send HTTP traffic through residential exit IPs in the country you choose, rotating or pinned to one IP for as long as you set. Three plans share one username, one password and one syntax.

Proxy URL, exit IP in United States

http://USERNAME-cc-US:PASSWORD@scale-us.netdash.io:2000
scale-us.netdash.io:2000
Host and port pick the plan and the gateway.
USERNAME
Your proxy username from the dashboard, not your sign-in details. One pair works on every residential and mobile plan.
-cc-US
The exit country, as a two-letter ISO code. Use GB for the United Kingdom.
-session-a1b2c3d4-ttl-30
Optional. Leave it out and the gateway assigns exit IPs for you.
  • Residential from $1.20/GB
  • Purchased GB never expire
  • No per-account concurrency limit

How residential proxies work on netdash

Your client connects to a netdash gateway: -us for exits in the Americas or -eu for exits in Europe, Africa and Asia. The gateway checks your username and password, reads the country and session parameters in the username and forwards the request through a residential exit IP in that country. The website sees the exit IP, not your own IP address.

HTTPS websites are reached through an HTTP CONNECT tunnel, so the TLS session runs between your client and the website. netdash forwards your traffic unchanged; it does not render pages or retry requests for you.

New to the concept? Read what is a residential proxy, or see how residential exits differ from datacenter IPs in residential vs datacenter proxies.

Three plans, one syntax

Solve is our lowest-cost residential plan, Scale is mid-priced and Opus is the highest-priced. The plans differ in which network pool they route to and in price. Connection syntax is identical, so you can switch plans by changing the host and port. One username and password work on all three, and each plan keeps its own GB balance. Every band is listed under residential pricing.

  • SolveOur lowest-cost residential plan.solve-us.netdash.io:1000
  • ScaleOur mid-priced residential plan.scale-us.netdash.io:2000
  • OpusOur highest-priced residential plan.opus-us.netdash.io:3000

Solve

Our lowest-cost residential plan.

$1.20per GB, first band

Down to $0.78 per GB for GB 25,001–50,000 of an order

A standard residential HTTP proxy with rotating or sticky sessions and country targeting. It forwards your traffic and does not solve CAPTCHAs, render JavaScript or retry requests.

solve-{us|eu}.netdash.io:1000

Scale

Our mid-priced residential plan.

$2.20per GB, first band

Down to $1.20 per GB for GB 25,001–50,000 of an order

The same features and connection syntax as Solve, routed to a different network pool.

scale-{us|eu}.netdash.io:2000

Opus

Our highest-priced residential plan.

$3.20per GB, first band

Down to $2.00 per GB for GB 25,001–50,000 of an order

The same syntax again. Eligible accounts can also enable two additional pools, Opus Extended and HighSpeed, which have their own country lists and longer default sticky sessions.

opus-{us|eu}.netdash.io:3000

About the Solve plan

Solve forwards your HTTP(S) traffic through residential IPs. It does not solve CAPTCHAs, render JavaScript, retry requests or modify your traffic. If a website presents a CAPTCHA, login wall or other challenge, it reaches your client unchanged. Use of the service is subject to our Terms and to the terms of the sites you access.

Rotating and sticky sessions

Rotating: send the username with the country only, for example USERNAME-cc-DE. The exit IP isn’t pinned, and the gateway assigns exit IPs for you.

Sticky: add -session-{SID}-ttl-{MIN}. Reusing the same session ID keeps the same exit IP for the TTL while that IP stays available. Session IDs use letters and digits only, with no hyphens. The dashboard offers lifetimes of 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 12 hours and 7 days.

The sessions reference covers the details. For when each mode fits a workload, read static vs rotating proxies. If an address must never change, static residential IPs are billed per IP instead.

  • Rotating, Germany: USERNAME-cc-DE
  • Sticky for 30 minutes: USERNAME-cc-DE-session-a1b2c3d4-ttl-30
  • Keep the session ID to keep the session; use a new ID for a new one

Choose the exit country

Put the country in the username with -cc- and a two-letter ISO 3166-1 code in uppercase, for example -cc-US or -cc-DE. Use GB for the United Kingdom, not UK.

Then pick the gateway for that region: -us for exits in North and South America, -eu for exits in Europe, Africa and Asia. The same parameters work on Solve, Scale and Opus.

Targeting is country-level: you can’t select a city, region, ZIP code, ASN or carrier. Residential and mobile exit IPs are available in most countries worldwide, except very small countries and countries that restrict VPN or proxy use, for example the United Arab Emirates. The country targeting syntax page has every rule, and locations shows both gateways.

  • Country by ISO code: -cc-US, -cc-DE, -cc-GB
  • Gateway by region: -us (Americas) or -eu (Europe, Africa and Asia)
  • Same parameters on every residential plan
  • Country-level only, with no city, region or ASN selection

Connect from your stack

Pick a plan, gateway, country and session type to get a proxy URL and code for curl, Python, Node.js or Playwright. The dashboard exports the same credentials as host:port:user:pass, user:pass:host:port or http://user:pass@host:port. Setup for other tools is in the integration guides, the proxy format reference lists every endpoint, and the quickstart walks through your first request.

Price per GB, by band

Pricing is graduated per order: each GB is charged at the rate of the band it falls into, from 1 to 50,000 GB. Separate orders are priced separately, and purchased GB never expire. Orders are one-time card payments in USD through Stripe, and your plan is provisioned automatically once payment is confirmed. Work out a total with the price calculator, or read how billing works. Comparing providers? The rotating proxy buyer’s checklist lists what to check, and free vs paid proxies covers what a free list costs you.

What teams use residential proxies for

Each card links to a full workflow with configuration, code and responsible-use guidance.

What netdash doesn’t do

Check these before you buy. They apply to Solve, Scale and Opus alike.

No CAPTCHA solving, JavaScript rendering, retries or unblocking

netdash forwards your traffic unchanged, so a challenge reaches your client exactly as the website sent it.

Targeting below country level

You choose the exit country; you can't select a city, region, ZIP code, ASN or carrier.

Authentication by IP address

Every request uses your username and password.

A public account API or SDK

None is needed: it's a standard HTTP proxy, and usage lives in the dashboard.

Published uptime figures or an SLA

We don't publish uptime figures or offer an SLA.

Responsible use

Use netdash for lawful, authorized work: respect robots.txt and each site’s terms, keep request rates reasonable, and don’t collect personal data without a lawful basis. Read how we expect netdash to be used.

Questions about residential proxies

Choose by price. Solve is our lowest-cost residential plan, Scale is mid-priced and Opus is the highest-priced, and each routes to a different network pool.

The syntax is identical, so you can switch at any time by changing the host and port. The smallest order is 1 GB, so you can try more than one plan with a small order.

You set the lifetime in minutes with -ttl-. The dashboard offers presets of 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 12 hours and 7 days. Reusing the same session ID keeps the same exit IP for that time while the IP stays available. See sessions.

No. Targeting is country-level: you choose the exit country with an ISO code such as -cc-DE, and you can’t select a city, region, ZIP code, ASN or carrier.

No. One username and password work on Solve, Scale, Opus and Mobile. The host and port select the plan, and each plan keeps its own GB balance.

There is no per-account concurrency or thread limit. You pay for the traffic you use: 1 GB of traffic is 1 GB from your balance.

Send your first request

Create an account, buy from 1 GB and connect with one username and password. Still choosing? Compare proxy types.
