Mobile proxies with the same syntax as residential

How mobile proxies connect

Requests take the same path as residential traffic. Your client connects to a regional gateway, the gateway checks your username and password and reads the parameters in the username, and the request leaves through a mobile exit IP in the country you chose. The host and port 4000 select the Mobile plan.

Mobile keeps its own GB balance, separate from the residential plans, but your username and password are the same. To see them, open the dashboard, go to Mobile and select Generate.

  1. Your client

    USERNAME:PASSWORD

  2. netdash gateway

    -us or -eu

  3. Mobile exit IP

  4. Website

    HTTPS via CONNECT

The website sees the exit IP, not your own IP address.

What you can and can’t select

You choose the gateway, the exit country and the session mode, all through the host and the username.

Exit country

Set with a two-letter ISO code in the username, for example -cc-GB or -cc-US

Available in most countries, except very small countries and countries that restrict VPN or proxy use.

Session mode

Rotating (no session parameters) or sticky (-session-{SID}-ttl-{MIN})

Dashboard presets: 15 min, 30 min, 12 h, 7 days.

Gateway

mobile-us.netdash.io:4000 for the Americas, mobile-eu.netdash.io:4000 for Europe, Africa and Asia

Both gateways are shown on locations.

Carrier, city, network generation

Can’t be selected

Targeting is country-level.

Protocol

HTTP proxy; HTTPS websites through CONNECT

Credentials

The same username and password as residential

Mobile has its own GB balance.

Billing

Per GB, one-time purchase of 1 to 50,000 GB, graduated per order

Purchased GB never expire.

Same syntax as residential

Rotating in the United Kingdom: USERNAME-cc-GB on mobile-eu.netdash.io:4000. Sticky for 30 minutes in the United States: USERNAME-cc-US-session-a1b2c3d4-ttl-30 on mobile-us.netdash.io:4000. Code written for residential works by changing the host and port. See sessions, country targeting syntax and the proxy format reference.

Price per GB, by band

Mobile GB are one-time purchases, graduated per order: each GB is charged at the rate of the band it falls into, from 1 to 50,000 GB. Purchased GB never expire. Estimate a total with the price calculator, or see mobile pricing next to the residential plans.

What netdash doesn’t do

Mobile follows the same rules as residential. In particular, you can’t choose a carrier.

No CAPTCHA solving, JavaScript rendering, retries or unblocking

netdash forwards your traffic unchanged, so a challenge reaches your client exactly as the website sent it.

Targeting below country level

You choose the exit country; you can't select a city, region, ZIP code, ASN or carrier.

Authentication by IP address

Every request uses your username and password.

A public account API or SDK

None is needed: it's a standard HTTP proxy, and usage lives in the dashboard.

Published uptime figures or an SLA

We don't publish uptime figures or offer an SLA.

Responsible use

Use netdash for lawful, authorized work: respect robots.txt and each site’s terms, keep request rates reasonable, and don’t collect personal data without a lawful basis. Read how we expect netdash to be used.

Questions about mobile proxies

No. Carrier, city and network generation can’t be selected. You choose the exit country with an ISO code and the session mode, rotating or sticky.

No. They use the same username and password, but Mobile keeps its own GB balance, separate from each residential plan. The host and port decide which balance a request uses.

Yes, with a sticky session: add -session-{SID}-ttl-{MIN} to the username. Reusing the same session ID keeps the same exit IP for the TTL while that IP stays available. The dashboard offers presets of 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 12 hours and 7 days.

Residential and mobile exit IPs are available in most countries worldwide, except very small countries and countries that restrict VPN or proxy use, for example the United Arab Emirates. Pick the exit country with its ISO code, for example -cc-GB. Codes and gateway choice are explained in country targeting syntax.

Necessary (always on)

Keeps the site working and secure, and remembers your privacy choices (nd_consent, 12 months).

In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland it stays off until you switch it on; elsewhere it is on unless you switch it off here. Google Analytics 4 measures page views, clicks on links and buttons, use of the price calculator, connection builder and code examples, scroll depth, file downloads, and page-performance metrics. It sets the cookies _ga and _ga_96MPNM6GHH, which last up to 12 months. Google processes this data, which may involve transfer to the United States. We do not send your name, email address or account details to Google Analytics. With this switched on we also remember a referral code or campaign you arrived with (nd_attr, 30 days), so a partner can be credited if you sign up.
